BOTHERSOME BLUNDERS

I know, I know, I vowed not to blog until finals are over but I'm in a tiff over a recent Detroit Free Press article commemorating Joey on taking first place in an essay contest.

Not only did the Freep mistakenly state that he's from Novi, it also quoted the opening sentences of the second place winner's entry as Joey's! Then, it misquoted his essay stating that my father's brothers were drafted into the Lebanese army at gunpoint! So NOT true. Way to breed ignorance!!

With that said, I want to send a special thanks to Gloriane for showing me the most professional way to berate the blunderer. I'll post any updates I receive as well as Joey's essay (when I get my hands on it!).

As for Joey...... keep up the good work smartie pants. :))
